In a Startup Bazaar keynote, Boston-based investor and AI thought leader Dr. Venkat Srinivasan outlined AI’s transformative potential: Enhancing efficiency, driving innovation, and reshaping industries. After 2021, 2024 saw one of the biggest splurges in AI innovation and despite economic uncertainties, AI remained a top investment priority, fueling innovation and competition among emerging and established players.

Srinivasan also noted that “the [AI] hype is real, and it’s reminiscent of the dot-com bubble in the late ’90s. However, the scale of this AI hype cycle dwarfs past ones.”
