The rise of artificial intelligence requires an increasing quantity of computing power which is not durable with current IT technologies. In this context, the field of neuromorphic and memory computer science has made great progress in recent times to make equipment that can make automatic learning tasks to a significantly lower and point energy, minimizing latency problems With Cloud Computing, the manufacturing is all the more suitable for critical, surveillance and mission applications where decision -making on the fly is essential. This special issue invites submissions by focusing on various eccentric approaches to carry out material AI, through new materials and devices, manufacturing strategies, IT architectures, neuromorphic systems and material algorithms inspired by the brain. Submissions are encouraged to material AI applied to specific practical use cases in different technological fields, other than MNIST data sets, as well as on the Materials to solve specific complex mathematical problems such as optimization, resolvers of differential equation, etc.
