It is no secret that the rise of generative artificial intelligence is challenging the way universities work.
Ethical questions are increasingly being asked about when researchers should use AI tools to help them carry out their research or draft their papers. So far, despite how quickly tools such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Copilot are becoming part of everyday life, there has been little consensus on where the boundaries lie.
