Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) approached Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom on an investment in a joint venture (JV) to exploit the Division of Intel foundations.

Under the proposal, TSMC would perform Intel’s foundry operations but would not hold more than 50% to comply with the American concerns of the government concerning foreign property. Qualcomm was also presented as a potential investor, although he would have left previous discussions to buy Intel games. The talks remain at an early stage, the negotiations continuing after TSMC and the Trump administration announced an American investment plan of $ 100 billion for additional flea installations.
Discussions on the JV come as part fighting against financial losses, dealing with a net loss of $ 18.8 billion in 2024, his first since 1986.
