Bulgaria Innovation Hub (BIH), the organization based in Silicon Valley, which aims to help the Bulgarian founders to set foot abroad,, announced 16 startups that join its summer acceleration program. Over the next two weeks, BIH will help the selected companies to polish and adjust their marketing strategy, know the American legal environment, establish precious links and meet potential partners, customers and investors.

Death is a Bulgarian fintech startup, which in practice is a reseller and a distributor of corporate gift cards, electronic codes and gift vouchers on the B2B reward market and employees. Cashwave already offers a wide range of products from retailers and electronic commerce sites in eight CEE countries and seeks to extend its markets and customer portfolio.
Develiot Develops material detection systems that help municipalities make data -based decisions with regard to air quality and water systems management. The company already has 33 of its air quality monitoring stations installed in Sofia and Ohrid, and telecommunications operators like Telelink, Vivacom and A1 are part of its partnership network.
Drinatic aims to transform the logistics industry with a fixed wing cargo drone – a drone with a 16 m scope which can transport up to 350 kg over 2,500 km at 200 km / h speed. The company has already built a prototype on a 1: 4 scale and has closed several investment laps.
Eljoy bikes is a company based in Varna that builds electric bikes. It currently has three models on the market and a clientele from all over Europe. Earlier this spring, the startup Cleantech closed its first significant investment – a round of € 630,000 aimed at increasing production capacity and entering new markets.
Endurosat is a nanosatellite engineering company with the vision of making data delivery from space several times easier and cheaper than it is currently. In 2018, Endurosat launched and activated a satellite in space and pilot another on a SpaceX Falcon 9 later this year or at the beginning of 2021. Recently, the Bulgarian space startup received 1 million euros from the Fregeist Capital of Fund Fundeist German.
Fantastic is a platform for the management of vacation rentals (VR) on different channels – for example, Airbnb, Booking.com, Homeaway, VRBO and others. It allows property managers to execute all their ads via a single dashboard instead of the five-six different tools which are generally necessary to serve customers, synchronize reservations, management of maintenance staff, etc.
Field is a company that uses AI to improve the efficiency of operating processes in the field. The startup, co-founded by the founder and CEO of Telelink, Lyubomir Minchev, is also part of the TELELINK venture capital wing.
Findmecure is often called Google for clinical trials. The Bulgarian startup Medtech has created an online platform allowing everyone to combat a medical condition to access development treatments. The company, founded in 2015 by Maya Zlatanova, in 2019, it already had 61,000 treatments listed in development and a recording of more than 2,000 patients who found treatments.
Kanbanize is a Bulgarian scale that provides Kanban software for agile project management and has more than 700 customers around the world – ranging from SMEs to fortune companies 500.
Kelvin Health is a spin-out of the image recognition society of the Bulgarian Imagga. Started during the COVVI-19 crisis, Kelvin provides a platform for monitoring and early diagnosis of infectious diseases of an epidemic nature. It works via a thermal imaging camera directly attached to a mobile phone, which then feeds image data with a mobile application with an integrated image and medical analysis algorithms. This allows an early diagnosis of individuals by means of analyzing personal thermal images and the determination of periodic changes.
Modeling,, Who is one of the other companies financed by Telelink on the list, provides a SaaS platform that has the aim of allowing small and medium-sized transit agencies to provide smart transport services. In practice, the startup software provides transit agencies with automatic tariffs, automatic vehicle location (AVL) and information on real -time passengers. The technology has already been implemented in several Bulgarian and Romanian cities (Stara Zagora, Varna, Brailla, Craiova and others)
Nitropack Provides tools for optimizing the website speed, targeting the needs of owners of electronic commerce, content publishers and web agencies. The company has built plugins for platforms like WordPress, Woocommerce, OpenCart and Magento and it also offers SDKs for PHP-based websites as well as APIs for personalized platforms.
Ondo is positioned as a modular system which allows farmers to easily monitor and control all their factories in real time while reducing water, energy and fertilization costs. It must be used in greenhouses, vineyards, open fields and orchards and components of automated irrigation management, precise nutrition of plants and climate. In April, the company raised 300,000 € of eleven companies and recently opened an office in South Africa.
Electric drone is an data analysis company using drones for the technical inspection of power lines and other types of energy infrastructure and thus helping energy companies to increase their efficiency. The company, supported by Andrey Bachvarov and winner of the national competition “innovative enterprise of the year”, allows public services to improve their management of grid assets by collecting quality data and analyzing them with automatic and image recognition algorithms.
Sessika technologies is an Bi platform developer providing solutions for automated media monitoring, measurement of digital channel performance and data analysis.
Tiger technology Develops highly efficient solutions for data, files and management of workflows for media, IT and surveillance industries. Its products are used by the Pentagon, Financial Times, Disney, Microsoft, IBM and AWS. In 2019, the company closed an investment round of 2.3 million euros.
