Robotic erleA boot in robotics technology incorporated into the Basque region of Spain, was acquired by Acutronic Link Robotics, a Swiss company affiliated with Acutronic groupspecialized in precision movement simulation solutions.
The co-founders of the startup Victor Mayoral (CTO) and Carlos Uraga (CEO) will manage the new company. The company will operate from sites in Spain, Switzerland and the United States.
The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Erle was created in 2014 and has since sold thousands of pieces of equipment for robots and drones, and has executed a certain number of government contracts for engineering and research projects.
More recently, Erle was funded by the rapid program of the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for the development of its operating system for robot owner equipment (“H-ROSยป).
Erle only has increased a small amount of seed funding Before that, the German accelerator Techfounders and Business Angels.
