The Shanghai-based start-up unveiled Genie Operator-1 (GO-1), a foundation model designed to serve as a brain for general use for humanoid robots to help them learn and adapt quickly, according to a statement from the company published on Monday.
“Robots will no longer be limited to laboratories but will adapt to the changing real world environment,” said Agibot in the press release.
“They can understand the instructions in natural language and carry out reasoning, rather than limiting themselves to preprogrammed routines.”
Go-1 is based on visual language models that feed massive quantities of robots and videos so that they can better understand human actions. Planning and action algorithms help the robot to map the steps and carry out movements to reach the required tasks, according to the company.

The system can learn from humans’ videos that do activities and generalize quickly from a small amount of training data, which reduces the barrier to so -called interruption information, the company added.
