Elevatebio has announced a multi -year collaboration with Amazon Web Services to exploit generative artificial intelligence to advance montage therapies of CRISPR genes. This partnership aims to accelerate the discovery, design and optimization of treatments based on CRISPR for a wide range of genetic diseases, including complex monogenic and polygenic disorders.
By taking advantage of the Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure, which includes Sagemaker for automatic learning and analysis, Elevatebio Life Edit Division will analyze its vast library of CRISPR systems and owner experimental data to identify and optimize new generation of genes. The integration of AI with the Life Edit gene editing platform, which supports the basic edition and the reverse transcriptase edition, will allow the development of ex vivo and in vivo therapies.
This collaboration is based on a project of proof of concept which has demonstrated improved protein discovery capacities and reduced costs using the advanced IT resources of Amazon Web Services.
