AI is quickly integrated into almost all aspects of modern life, but its presence can feel awkward and intrusive, emphasizing how far there is to go to make transparent interactions – and Pia, the personal intelligent assistant, imagines a new way for people to engage with intelligent systems. This conceptual system in three parts consists of a smartphone, a biometric earphone and a portable camera module supported by a battery. Together, these devices form an interconnected and fueled system by AI that sees, detects, listens and communicates intuitively.
Designed by the British creative agency layer, PIA aims to fill the gap between physical and digital fields, providing support for everything, coaching and individualized navigation to planning and booking events. “By weaving emotion and humanity in the fabric of speculative AI, Pia transforms the relationship between the user and technology,” explains Benjamin Hubert, the founder of the layer.
