Anthropic added Google Docs integration to its Claude.ai assistant

Anthropic has added a Google Docs integration to its Claude.ai assistant. This feature allows users to access document content and reason from Google Docs in their discussions and projects.

This way, Claude can summarize long Google documents and reference the historical context of the files to inform decision-making or assist with strategic planning.

This integration is available on the Claude Pro, Team and Enterprise plans.

Another update allows Claude to match users’ communication and their preferred way of writing.

Users can choose from these styles:

• Formal: clear and careful answers
• Concise: shorter, more direct answers
• Explanatory: educational answers for learning new concepts

Beyond these predefined options, Claude can automatically generate personalized styles and modify preferences as they evolve.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini have similar features that allow users to tailor responses based on their writing style and tone. Apple Intelligence’s Writing Tools feature also provides presets with similar styles.
