Much of this week was spent tracing in watercolors and writing on the watercolor tracing. I also had two days at my day job (usually it’s just one), so the art days were reduced.
I really enjoy writing articles and sharing my process on a set schedule. It’s worth it, but it also definitely cuts into the time I have for other artistic creations. I don’t know how to create more balance here. Ideally I’ll get better at writing articles faster, but I mean, last year it would take me weeks to produce one and now it’s about 2-3 days of work, so I have already rationalized a lot.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been experimenting with watercolor painting using my AxiDraw plotter. This item is a scrapbook of the things I’ve tried, the results I’ve created, and the mistakes I’ve made (and continue to make).
I have been researching print production options. I have always been happy with prints from The Print Space, and they now have a drop shipping service where prints are delivered digitally signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. They also have UK/EU/US locations, avoiding costly shipping. I’m working on creating a series of handwriting prints that will be available soon!
