Chatgpt and Sora, an AI video generator, is currently experiencing a breakdown, according to Openai, the company behind the tools. The problem persisted for more than two hours.
The breakdown was reported for the first time at 5:17 p.m., Eastern time. OPENAI provided a updateDeclaring: “We are currently investigating the problem and will provide more updates shortly.”
While the problem continued, Openai published another update, detailing the problems that users encountered. “We have reports on API calls that refer errors and difficulties connecting to Platform.openai.com and Chatgpt,” they said. Shortly after, they announced that they had identified the problem and worked to implement a fix.
Openai said later that “we are working as quickly as possible to return the service to normal and apologize for downtime”. The last update, published at 7:03 p.m., said they were continuing to work on the resolution of the breakdown.
Earlier this month, OPENAI CEO Sam Altman revealed that business technology had reached 300 million active users each week, according to CNBC. In addition, Apple has recently published new software versions for the iPhone, iPad and Mac, which include integrations with Chatgpt.
