Kleio, a multi-agent generative artificial intelligence platform that can design, create and monitor conversational agents on the web, has received €3 million in seed funding.
The 2024-founded company will use the new capital to drive adoption, increase the range of skills its AI agents can complete and train AI models for sales, among other goals.
Kleio, which has worked with travel companies including Havas Voyages, Comptoir des Voyages and Showroomprivé aims to improve the B2C purchasing journeys with their conversational AI product.
The funding was led by Serena and Daphni with additional support from Houman Behzadi of C3 AI, Julien Bellanger of Prevoty, Raphael Simon formerly of Shine.fr and Dave Kellogg, formerly of HostAnalytics and Salesforce.
“Our goal is to provide enterprises with an AI platform to create tailored, intuitive, data-driven buying experiences that outperform in-store interactions,” said Philippe Wellens, co-founder and CEO of Kleio.
Wellens said the company is positioning itself as a long-term partner to help with improving customer experiences for brands and “measurable boosts” in sales.

“We’re also technological partners for other sales-related use cases such as augmentation of internal sales teams, lead nurturing and lead scoring,” Wellens said.
Kleio is working to transform sales journeys with AI features including natural language conversations, product recommendations, lead qualifications, sales workflow automation and intelligent routing to streamline customer service and purchasing.
The company aims to provide technology that is detailed and “purpose-built” for industries that require what it identifies as a “personal touch.”
According to Kleio, Havas Voyages experienced a 200% uptick in web leads, had “tens of thousands” of sales conversations and generated “thousands” of leads in three months of use.
The company aims to work with sectors beyond travel as well including real estate, energy, cosmetics and financial services.
