Members of Nobel Prize-winning British lab urge science policymakers to develop ‘comprehensive’ strategies to harness AI
A decades-long slowdown in scientific progress could be reversed with artificial intelligence, according to members of the Nobel Prize-winning Google DeepMind AI research lab.
In an essay published on November 26, the authors urge governments to develop policies for the use of AI in science, which they say will “improve the return on funding scientific research.”
