Broetje-automation, a German robotics company for the aerospace industry, will be the first to rent a space in the Elk Grove technological park for its head office and its manufacturing facilities in the United States, announced Monday managers from the village of Elk Grove.
The company plans to occupy more than 43,000 square feet of space in a building on the side of the Higgins road in the technological park of 1.2 million square feet by October, have said village officials. Broetje-Automation manufactures assembly machines, exercises, ties and component carriers for some of the biggest names in the aerospace industry, notably Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Airbus (in Europe), Gulf Stream and Spirit Aerosystems, Who operates in the Boeing supply chain, said Schmidt. .
