In today’s digital landscape, where information is at one click, it is essential to understand how search engines like Google manage sensitive subjects. A recent study of the classification highlights Google’s prudent approach in terms of content generated by AI, in particular for sensitive subjects “your money or your life” (ymyl) such as health, finance, legal questions and politics.
The study analyzed more than 1,200 keywords and discovered that Google adopts a meticulous position during the supply of an overview of AI (AIOS) for YMyl subjects. The presence of AIOs varied considerably according to the different categories: legal requests had the highest rate at 77.67%, followed closely by health related to 65.33%. Financial subjects showed a moderate presence of AIO of 41.67%, while political research had the lowest at only 16.67%.

A striking conclusion is the use of non-responsibility clauses. The study revealed that Google often includes notices of non-responsibility in AIOS for health and financing subjects. For example, 83% of health -related AIOs advised users to consult professionals, and 63.2% of finance AIOs included similar warnings. In addition, Google tends to avoid generating AIOs for sensitive subjects, including mental health, food disorders, drug addiction, specific drugs, COVVI-19 and abortion.
Regarding political content, Google adopts a practical approach. In particular, no preview of the AI has been triggered for keywords linked to elections or presidential subjects. This contrasts striking with other AI search engines, such as the search for Openai, which responds to such requests.

For those who have focused on referencing and creation of content, these ideas underline the need to provide authority and good source information, in particular for YMYL subjects. Content creators must prioritize strategies such as improving the credibility of the authors, refine the keywords and add warnings for health and finance content.
Thus, understanding Google’s approach on sensitive subjects can help companies navigate in the complexities of digital content creation, ensuring that they provide precise and trustworthy information while adhering to the best practices.
