“Piecemeal” initiatives for AI startups are not helping, says Lords committee
The UK government must tackle the complicated “spaghetti” of support for AI startups to stop them moving to global competitors to scale up, the House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee has said.
Failure to support AI startups to stay and grow in the UK could lead to reduced global competitiveness and a weaker economy, the cross-bench group of peers warned.
