Although robotic technology has been widely used by large manufacturing companies to increase productivity, the high cost at the start means that many small businesses still have to take advantage of its enormous potential.
However, Inovo Robotics, a technological start-up based in Hong Kong, strives to solve this problem.
Since its creation in 2016, the robotics company has developed solutions for small and medium -sized businesses to help them adapt to automation in their daily business practices.
Jonathan Cheung, co-founder of the start-up, said that his goal is to “democratize robots” and develop tools for all businesses to help them improve efficiency and remain competitive.
“We have found that there is such a great disconnection with the small businesses to be able to benefit from affordable and flexible robots,” he said.
“There are a lot of companies that find it difficult to bring staff to perform monotonous tasks, so what we are developing is really a tool that allows them to withdraw repetitive work.”
