Microsoft has revealed for the first time a revamped, AI-driven version of its search engine, Binglast year.
THE new Bingwho promised to be “more powerful than ChatGPT,” runs on Microsoft’s next-generation language model called “Prometheus.” The proprietary technology was developed using elements of OpenAI’s most advanced GPT models as part of Microsoft’s partnership with the company.

It can perform a number of tasks that old Bing never dreamed of, like suggesting recipes, writing poems, performing image-based search queries, and making restaurant reservations. Copilot was previously called Bing Chat.
Microsoft’s Bing launched in 2009, more than a decade after Google’s launch — and while it’s come a long way since then, Bing still has only a fraction of the market share compared to Google.
And although Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella once enthusiastically declared that Copilot would “fundamentally transform our relationship with technology,” the The AI assistant had a hard time live up to the hype, both inside and outside the company.
