Meta Ai is starting to catch up with Google with regard to the photo editing fueled by AI. Wednesday, at Meta Connect 2024 conferenceThe technology giant has announced that Meta IA will now be able to help you edit photos using AI technology and answer questions about the photos you share.
Additional features are made possible because Meta Ai gain multimodal capabilities, fueled by its LLAMA 3.2 models. This means that you can now share photos in your cats, not just text, similar to Google Gemini and the Openai Chatppt.
When sharing a photo, Meta Ai can understand what the image contains and answer questions about the image. For example, Meta suggests that you could share a photo of a flower, then ask the AI what type of flower it is. Or you can share a photo of a delicious dish and ask Meta ai how to do it. Of course, how precisely the meta-AI answers these questions and others must still be tested and examined.

Another key feature with added photo support is the possibility of modifying images using AI.
After sending Meta ai the photo, you can ask him to make a kind of change-such as adding or deleting an object in the foreground, changing your outfit or updating the photo background in one way or another, such as adding a rainbow to the sky, for example.

Meta AI can also be used on Instagram when you reshape a photo of your flow to your Instagram stories. Here, AI technology can look at the photo, understand the images, then generate an accompaniment context for your story.

Beyond photo changes, Meta also tests translation tools for Facebook and Instagram Reels which include automatic dubbing and lip synchronization. These tests will initially be managed in small groups in the United States and Latin America in English and Spanish.
The other features of Meta AI’s photo include the expansion of Meta AI AI AI functionalities and the deployment of Meta AI Image Tests shared with your Facebook and Instagram flows, to encourage users to try the functionality.
The beautiful text during the Meta demo noted that the editing features first came to the United States in English.
Meta PDG noted Mark Zuckerberg during the event, “Meta Ai is different in this category by offering not only advanced AI models, but also unlimited access to these models for free, easily integrated into our various products and applications,” he said. “So, Meta IA is in the process of being the most used AI assistant in the world by the end of this year. In fact, it is probably already there. … We are almost 500 million monthly assets, and we have not even launched in some of the largest countries,” added Zuckerberg.
