Meta AI’s imagination features, which use a generative AI to transform text prompts into images, are now extended on Facebook and Instagram, The company announced at Meta Connect 2024 Wednesday. With the update, users will be able to use prompts to generate AI photos directly in their flow, stories and for their Facebook profile photos.
The new capacities could help users and creators attract more attention to their messages and shares by allowing them to generate fanciful and catchy images to accompany their text. Once the images are shared, friends and subscribers can see them and react to them or even imitate them, says Meta.

Facebook users already download photos of characters, animals or something else in addition to their own photo as a profile photo to better protect their intimacy. Now they will no longer have to look for such a photo: they can simply generate one.
The AI can also suggest legends for stories on Facebook and Instagram, as part of this update.
Image generation capacities will also come to Messenger to create personalized chat themes. This is accessible by pressing “themes” in the cat. Before, users could modify the background of their cats as well as the color of the text bubbles, but Meta Ai offers many more options in terms of images that can be used.

Meta says he also tests the new content generated by AI in Facebook and Instagram flows where he will display IA images created for users according to interest and trends.

This is widely designed to push people to try Meta Ai by pressing a suggested prompt to reinvent the photo or by sliding to generate real -time content using Meta Imagine IA.
The meta-PDG Mark Zuckerberg pointed out during the event that Meta Ai is different by offering “advanced AI models, but also unlimited access to these models for free, easily integrated into our various products and applications,” he said.
“So, Meta IA is in the process of being the most used AI assistant in the world by the end of this year. In fact, it is probably already there. … We are almost 500 million monthly assets, and we have not even launched in some of the largest countries,” added Zuckerberg.
