Microsoft partners exhibited a range of cloud and artificial intelligence solutions to improve various business operations across various industries at the show Microsoft Ignite 2024.
“I view our partner ecosystem as an extension of everything we do,” Judson Althoff, Microsoft’s executive vice president and chief business officer, said at the event. “From our software partners who literally bet your business on our platform, to our systems integrator partners who take our products and create customer-facing solutions, and to our channel ecosystem without which we would have no business in our accounts. ‘business. and small and medium-sized businesses around the world. First, AvePoint – a solutions provider for data security, governance and resiliency – demonstrated its Microsoft 365 Copilot benchmarking capabilities within AvePoint tyGraph, which provide organizations with critical insights into how their AI adoption and usage patterns compare to those of others. Adding to the AvePoint Confidence platform, these enhancements help organizations evaluate their business to maximize the success and sustainability of Microsoft 365.
“Realizing the full potential of AI requires a balanced approach that includes analyzing your AI adoption and identifying champion users to model the type of productivity and innovation you seek,” said John Peluso, chief technology officer at AvePoint. “But focusing solely on this without ensuring your data is properly governed and secure could lead to immense challenges. With AvePoint Confidence Platform, we offer organizations a complete solution so they don’t have to choose between adoption, speed and security.
Next, Cognizant highlighted how agent-based systems and large language models help solve complex problems. Babak Hodjat, chief AI technology officer at Cognizant, joined Marco Calaina, vice president of Azure AI products at Microsoft, to present a session on the topic, titled “Exploring the future of AI with multi-agent systems and LLMs in action”.
Meanwhile, Informatica explained how it is helping customers revolutionize their data with AI through its native Azure solutions, Azure master data management software-as-a-service, and proprietary cloud modernization program.
“This is a phenomenal partnership, truly deep and richly integrated across the entire Microsoft cloud,” Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of cloud and AI at Microsoft, said of the Informatica partnership.
Additionally, Miro demonstrated how its tools integrate with Copilot, Teams and Microsoft 365 to enable teams to accelerate every phase of work, from brainstorming to delivery.
After 35 years, the Siemens and Microsoft partnership has grown to improve product lifecycle management, design, manufacturing and other industrial processes using Microsoft’s cloud and AI technologies. For example, Siemens explained at the event how its Xcelerator portfolio on Azure allows manufacturers to communicate issues faster to the right people to resolve them. Kyle Aruda, Head of Portfolio Development at Siemens, led a session on “Harnessing AI innovations: a collaborative journey with Siemens and Microsoft” to discuss it in more detail.
Additionally, Shure revealed its inclusion in the Android-based Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), designed to enable device manufacturers and software developers to provide solutions for all types of users.
“We are excited to further expand our partnership with Microsoft through MDEP,” said Sam Sabet, chief technology officer at Shure. “MDEP offers another avenue of innovation on the very popular Android platform, leading to solutions tailored to our customers. This partnership ensures that our solutions, like IntelliMix Room software, can meet the highest security standards and deliver exceptional audio quality for Microsoft Teams rooms.
The audio manufacturer also presented its audio conferencing kit at the event. The kit includes an MXA902 ceiling microphone with integrated speaker paired and pre-routed to the ANIUSB-MATRIX audio network interface for simple setup and seamless connectivity to conferencing platforms such as Teams Rooms.
Finally, as the 2024 Microsoft Teams Partner of the Year, TeamViewer launched its AI-powered features at Ignite. Its tools – like Session Insights – use Microsoft Teams, Copilot and Azure OpenAI to provide meeting summaries to participants.
