While the emergence of Deepseek, with its low -budget AI models, sent shock waves on the Chinese AI market, the growing demand for calculation power found a strong ally in Huawei. According to WCCFTECHHuawei’s next 910C ascent 910c is expected to heat competition and could be a serious competitor of Nvidia H100 in China.
The report stresses that OSSE 910C is preparing for the launch, with the current production and the key details emerging. In particular, the WCCFTECH suggests that the chip is built on 7 NM of TSMC and SMIC, adding that the Chinese technological conglomerate obtained large orders of 7 NM of TSMC before export restrictions, with the Taiwanese foundry giant manipulating most of the production.
However, the report also notes that the main Chinese Smic foundry, with a monthly production of 50,000 trays, should also contribute, supporting Huawei’s objective to send millions of AI chips.
WCCFTECH, citing a well -known analyst @Ohlennartreveals that Huawei’s Ascend 910c adopts a simpler approach than the chips of Nvidia, using two silicon interposers connected via an organic substrate.
In simple terms, Ascend 910C essentially combines two 910B chips for higher performance, apparently hitting 800 TFOP / S to FP16 with a 3.2 TB / S memory bandwidth, which is more efficient than the Nvidia H100, depending on the report.
According to a previous Financial time Report, Huawei doubled the yield of its last AI chips at almost 40%, against 20% a year ago, which makes its production line of fleas ascend for the first time.
The report also notes that Huawei plans to produce chips 100K 910C and 300K 910b in 2025, a jump of 200K 910Bs and no 910C in 2024.
