Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will be published on PC on March 20, and it seems that he will take care of Nvidia DLSS 4 from the GO. As such, RTX GPU owners will be able to take advantage of the transformer model. Not only that, but the owners of the RTX50 series will be able to use the multi-trames general.
Ubisoft provided us with a revision code and according to the directive, we can say that we play it and that we will have a PC performance analysis of the day-1.
Of course, I cannot share any details on the settings in play. Nor can I share benchmarks, screenshots or videos. I can’t even talk about the game itself. But this is where things become really interesting. You see, Nvidia has already added the possibility of using DLSS 4 via its NVIDIA application. Now, I do not know if we will get a native management in the game for DLSS 4. What I know, however, is that you can use the NVIDIA application to activate DLSS 4 and MFG.
Thus, using the NVIDIA application, you can use MFG X3 or X4. And yes, you can benefit from the transformer model of the DLSS 4 super resolution. I tried them and they work. Obviously, I cannot share any number of performance or impressions. To do this, you will have to wait until March 18.
Another thing to note is that the revision code has the anti-exchange technology of Denuvo. As such, it will give us a fairly good idea of how the commercial / final version will take place. Thus, our references will be representative of the experience of day 1 that you will get.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is powered by the latest version of the Anvil engine. The game will have dynamic seasons and weather, aimed at changing the landscape and your strategy. It also will have destructible environments, as well as dynamic wind and environmental particles.
On PC, players can expect a support for FSR 3.1 and Xess 2 when launch. There will also be an integrated reference tool to test your PC. In addition, the game will support ultra-large monitors. Ubi will also benefit from the tracing of the shelves. The developers have used RT to improve global lighting and reflections in the game.
Ubisoft will publish Assassin’s Creed: Shadows on PC on March 20. The Steam version will not require the Ubisoft Connect launcher. However, you will always need a Ubisoft account. You can also find the official requirements of the official PC system of the game here.
