Swisscom offers maximum “Swiss” with a secure AI platform

Swisscom has unveiled its Swiss AI Platform, which enables businesses to benefit from a powerful infrastructure for reliable AI applications. The new platform, operated in Swisscom data centers, offers guaranteed data storage and processing in Switzerland. It provides everything from consulting to operations from a single source. Its modular design provides businesses with flexible access to Switzerland’s first NVIDIA SuperPOD system, as well as platform and application services. Swisscom is already working with customers to test the first applications on the platform.

Swisscom’s new Swiss AI platform now offers businesses AI infrastructure and applications with maximum Swissness. The platform developed by Swisscom ensures that data is stored and processed in Switzerland, ensuring that companies maintain full control over their data throughout the processing chain.

The Swiss AI Platform offers AI infrastructure, platform and application services. The modular design gives customers the flexibility to select and combine components according to their needs. GPU as a Service allows companies to access Switzerland’s first NVIDIA SuperPOD system in Swisscom data centers. High-performance processing power enables processing of large volumes of data; for example, for training, tuning and operating models.

Swisscom is already testing and implementing the first applications on the Swiss AI Platform. In collaboration with Thurgauer Kantonalbank (TKB), it is testing a chatbot to query the internal instructions of bank employees. A system for automated responses to online customer inquiries is also being developed with TKB.
