Google announced Wednesday that its application for taking note and research on AI, NotebookAdd an “audio presentation” feature. Audio preview will give users another way to digest and understand information in the documents they have downloaded on the application, such as course readings or memories.
Since its launch, Notebooklm has used text to summarize and explain the source materials, but now it can do it out loud using audio. The functionality is oriented towards people who better grasp the materials by listening to explanations rather than reading them.
The virtual hosts generated in AI will use conversational discourse models to give you a summary of the documents you have shared. The hosts will share convincing facts or subjects of source equipment and will do things like using metaphors to explain complicated concepts. Google says that listening to these discussions will help users find new connections between their documents or be inspired by their drafts.
To start with an audio overview, you must open an existing laptop, access the notebook guide and click on the “Generate” button on the right side. This can take up to five minutes for an audio conversation to generate, and for the moment, you can only generate conversations in English.
You can also download the conversation and listen to it on the go to quickly understand the equipment of your source.
Audio conversations are still in beta version and there can be inaccuracies in conversations, says Google.
The company first made a carnetlm book under the name Tailwind project In June 2023 at Google E / S before making it available to all over 18 years in the United States last December. The application is now available In more than 200 countries In more than 108 languages.
