Las Vegas:
The appliances that do tasks, cars that know your favorite coffee and pets from robots aimed at please were among the infused offers to artificial intelligence at the Electronics Show consumer that opened on Tuesday.
All this will contribute to attention during the annual extravagance of CES in Las Vegas, while the sellers behind the scenes are looking for ways to deal with the prices threatened by American elected official Donald Trump.
The AI is once again a major theme of the show, as well as autonomous vehicles ranging from tractors and boats to the lawns and trolls of the Golf Club.
The South Korean giant of LG consumption electronics launched a media day on Monday by describing a vision of “affectionate intelligence” in which household appliances watch over people – to follow how much they sleep for s ‘Ensure that they remember the umbrellas when the rain is in the forecasts.
“At LG, we integrate AI transparently into physical living spaces around us,” said CEO William Cho.
“We consider space not only as a physical location, but as an environment where holistic experiences come to life – through the house, mobility, commercial and even virtual spaces.”
Even before the floor of the show opens, the sellers prompted visitors with electric roller skates, hologram stands for life -size distance collaboration and even a robot that looked like a lamp fixed at the top of ‘A hiking table. Most of the offers have boasted of being improved with AI.

These will also be a gigantic car show, with car manufacturers and those that provide software and parts with autonomous and automated safety capacities.
“These has been a car fair for some time now, and if anything, it’s more this year,” said TechSponential analyst Avi Greengart.
The close relationship of the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk with Trump, should reduce regulatory slowdowns concerning autonomous vehicles.
And while being part of daily life, flying cars will be part of the CES scene, according to independent technological analyst Rob Enderle.
“You should start seeing flying vehicles you can buy,” said Enderle. “Obtaining approval to fly is a completely different matter.”
The robots designed to manage work tasks or be comforting companions – and even adorable pets – are among the exhibitions of these.
The gadgets to calm the mind, embellish the body or help take a night’s sleep is exposed while technology continues to infiltrate all aspects of existence.
“Digital health will be huge,” said Greengart. “We see many more technologies worn or used to follow your health markers.”
Improved technology also AI-Instrees, from a spice distributor that “learns” swimming pool cleaners to the taste of a cook and robot.
Price anxiety?
According to analysts, the prices that spoke by Trump would increase costs for imported articles, and it will probably be in the minds of CES participants targeting the American market.
Many products of the show have imported components, and if Trump strikes Canada, China and Mexico with prices, it will mean a prize peak, said analyst Enderle.
“There will be many sellers concerned at CES,” said Enderle about the price.
According to Greengart, discussions in CES will understand how to sail in the constraints of the supply chain which could be caused by prices.
“But a large part of the conversation will occur in camera so as not to anger the future administration,” he added.
Chinese companies with an important American presence, such as TCL and Hisense intelligent television rivals, are at CES.
But Greengart warns against a “growing market for China and the rest of the world” while commercial frictions take place. AFP
