Yesterday, Chatgpt d’Opnai faced a massive world failure with thousands of users unable to access the IA chatbot. According to Downdector, the breakdown started at 5:00 p.m. yesterday with complaints reported by users slowing at 8 p.m.
Users have said that they could not open the website or the application with the website showing a banner message saying: “Bad gateway”.
OPENAI informed X users about the reason saying: “Chatgpt and some of our APIs had high error rates earlier due to a problem with our supplier. We have published a fix and must be completely recovered. Thanks for your patience!
Once the problem is resolved, the status page on the Openai website has been updated with “between 4 h 23 and 7:10 am, customers have experienced high errors on the Chatppt”.
The breakdown disrupted the work for people with many people who go to X to mention how dependent they were dependent on the chatbot.
“A good measure of the importance of certain infrastructure is how upsetting it is for your workflow when it suddenly does not work. Anyway, Chatgpt is down right now, ”tweeted Christian Hendriksen, assistant professor at Copenhagen Business School.
