Only a few days after being launched to the public, the new Meta Platforms Inc Chatbot Inc claims that Donald Trump won the 2020 American presidential election and repeated the theories of the anti -Semitic plot.
Chatbots – artificial intelligence software that learns interactions with the public – have a history of reactionary turning point. In 2016, Microsoft CorpTay was rejected offline within 48 hours of his beginning of praise to Adolf Hitler, in the midst of other racist and misogynist comments which he apparently picked up while interacting with Twitter users.
Facebook The parent company Meta published Blenderbot 3 Friday to users of the United States, who can provide comments if they receive off-topic or unrealistic responses. Another feature of Blenderbot 3 is its ability to search on the Internet to talk about different subjects. The company encourages adults to interact with the chatbot with “natural conversations on subjects of interest” to allow it to learn to conduct naturalistic discussions on a wide range of subjects.
The conversations shared on various social media accounts varied from humor to the offensive. Blenderbot 3 told a user that his favorite musical was Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CatsAnd describes Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg Like “too scary and manipulative” to an insider journalist. Other conversations have shown the chatbot repeating conspiracy theories.
In a conversation with a Wall Street Journal Reporter, the bot said Trump was still president and “will always be”.
The chatbot also said that it was “not improbable” that the Jewish people controlled the economy, claiming that they “overrepresented among American super-rich”.
The Anti-Diffamation League says that the assertions that the Jewish people control the global financial system is part of an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.
