Amazon music announcement Tuesday, the launch of its new feature fueled by AI, “Topics”, which allows users to explore episodes of podcast by specific subjects addressed in the episode.
When you visit the page of an episode of Podcast, search for new topic tags below the description of the episode. You can press a tag to see a list of related podcast episodes on the same subject. This allows you to find podcasts on specific subjects such as “coffee” and “dopamine” in addition to the usual categories such as comedy and news.

The company has explained that the new feature is supplied by Amazon Web Services (AWS) but is also based on human work. AI Analyzes the transcriptions and descriptions of the podcast to identify key subjects, then the members of the human team determine the relevant tags to add to the episode page.
The feature is available for all Amazon music users in the United States on iOS and Android devices, from today. It will take place on the best podcasts on Amazon Music, including daily life, without intelligence and this American life, among others. The company also plans to extend the coverage of subjects to more Podcast content, which will lead to a larger range of subjects and an improved list of related podcast episodes.
Another Functionality fueled by AI That Amazon Music adds is Maestro, a Playlist AI generator which creates reading lists according to the user prompts. The functionality was launched in beta version last April. The new features of AI follow Amazon acquisition Audio Discovery Engine Snackable IA content last year, which aimed to improve the features of his podcasting company.
