– NVIDIA (Reddit)
If you are not familiar with the program, it is exclusive to NVIDIA account holders to buy one of the GPUs in the recently launched RTX 50 series (RTX 5070 TI excluded). According to the priority access program verified, anyone interested in buying the RTX 5090, RTX 5080 and the RTX 5070 GPU Founders Edition can apply by filling out a form which allows them to obtain the GPUs to the PDSF.
Nvidia introduced this method to combat high prices and the poor availability of GPUsBut it is a temporary solution and may not guarantee you a GPU at the official price. There are certain conditions to be fulfilled before you can apply or earn the possibility of buying the GPU. This program only offers the Founders Edition cards of the mentioned models and you have to be an American resident.
It is also compulsory to have an NVIDIA account created before January 30, 2025, which means that anyone who had an NVIDIA account before the launch of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 can enter the program. After verifying eligibility via an algorithm, the VPA program will decide which should obtain the GPUs to the PDSF. Winners will receive invitations by email to buy the GPUs, and they can buy them in the official Nvidia store.
