A new revolutionary research initiative should reshape the way British companies include the modern workplace.
Directed by the workspace specialist based in Newcastle Workpattern In partnership with Insight Platform ADIEM,, The Workpulse project Use AI to discover what employees really think where and how they work, from their physical workspace to technological supply and a wider work culture.
The project was launched earlier this year and has already received more than 1,300 responses to the employee survey in a transversal cup of sectors and corporate sizes.
Powered by Audiem’s advanced analysis platform, workpulse analyzes open text comments to reveal key themes shaping well-being, productivity and commitment of employees-discover models that may not be immediately obvious thanks to traditional data methods.
Paul Glaister, brand director at Workpattern, said: “This is a project that we have in mind for a number of years, but given the quantity of noise on the market on the changing nature of workplaces, it seems that it is the ideal time to follow these changing attitudes to give professionals in the workplace the tendency analysis they need because they make key decisions concerning their work strategy.”
Ian Ellison, co-founder of Audiem, added: “When we built Audiem, we wanted to help work professionals unlock hidden ideas in rich and disorderly data sets.
“Working with Paul and the team on this subject and having the opportunity to start mapping the trends in the workplace based in the United Kingdom is really exciting for us.
“We have already seen how powerful this data can be for work teams with our customers, but to open it to a wider community of employees will be extraordinarily insightful, and we are impatient to regularly share information as the project progresses.”
To share its initial conclusions, Workpattern is organizing a free event at the Baltic Center for Contemporary Art, in Gateshead, April 29, where participants will hear Paul and Ian, as well as Mark Catchlove, Director of Insight At Millerknoll.
Together, they will share new data from the responses to the project survey, will discuss the evolution of the attitudes of the workplace and the current global trends in hybrid and well-being of employees.
The event, which takes place from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and includes lunch, presentations and networking, offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with industry experts, contribute to current research and bring together practical strategies to clarify the design and policy of the workplace.
