Some users are now seeing new video flows dedicated to “sports”, “fashion”, “game” and “food”. The shift between the flows shows you the content of each category without having to search specifically.
With this overhaul, Tiktok seems to try to allow people to find more easily the type of content with which they want to look or stay up to date. The current application of the application and for you are not organized and rather show you a range of different types of content in a few minutes. For example, you could meet a funny cat video, then see a video just after a sad story. With these new categories, you can select the type of content you want to see at that time.
If you are looking for fashion inspiration, you can browse the fashion flow. If you are looking for dinner ideas, you can browse food foods. Of course, you can always look for these things in the application, but the new flows offer a transparent way to look at specific types of content.

Change could be a welcome addition to users who want more organization within the application as well as the possibility of seeing what they are in mood.
