Skinny Mobile has just redefined the brand’s ambassador – by digitally cloning his happiest client. This daring decision transforms Liz Wright, a real New Zealander chosen from hundreds of candidates, into a virtual spokesperson entirely propelled by AI.
In an original campaign and aware of the costs of Colanso Bbdo, Liz’s digital twin features in a series of playful ads generated by AI. From the delivery of news segments on its creation to the transformation of different personalities, these avatars entertain while highlighting Skinny’s commitment to the affordable mobile service.
By using advanced technology and vocal technology, the brand worked with Creature Post to capture Liz in full – 360 scans, voice samples and more – allowing it to “appear” anywhere, at any time, without the high cost of traditional production. The result is an innovative and funny campaign that embraces technology without losing the human touch.
