The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) officially announced the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics Committee at a technology event in Hanoi on Thursday.
Addressing the seminar titled “Safe AI – Shaping Responsible Innovation”, Yoshua Bengio, professor at the University of Montreal and founder of the Mila AI Institute – Quebec, highlighted the need to prioritize ethical standards and security during the process of exploring the transformative potential of AI. .
He believes that creating a community dedicated to ethical AI will foster innovation for society and minimize the risks associated with automation.
