Dada projects
As a studio oriented in the future concerned by questions of climate change, Dada projects Quickly learned how AI is more and more integral in the forecast of climate -related disasters and, in turn, to reduce their impact. He does so by analyzing the data in real time against historical data in order to predict potential risks. In turn, for works of art around the subject of sustainability, the themes of technology, nature and art technology appeared during the ideation process. “We were fighting against the idea that AI is” another “, a distinct entity, and we rather wanted to show it as an extension of our natural world, a tool that can harmonize with it.” Creating soft organic textures in the middle of fluid movements to evoke the natural environment, Dada Studios used geographic data in real time to add an additional narration layer to otherwise quantitative information. In addition, they used a plugin called DEM Earth to extract the territorial data from Google Maps which were then implemented in Cinema 4D. These technical tools allowed designers to experiment with different visual styles corresponding to the data.
For the visualization of meteorological forecasts by Dada Project, the studio poetically portrays the different stages of the change of time by the movement of the idle. The spectator can observe temperature changes by changing color changes. Contrary to preconceived sterile mechanical ideas of AI, the works of Dada Project underline how AI is not purely futuristic. In fact, AI is deeply rooted in the present. “The movement is deliberate,” explains the studio, “echoing how the AI processes the information. Calm on the surface but with immense power and complexity below. »Allow the beauty of nature to guide the creative process, the studio was inspired by scientific imaging – microscopic snapshots of coral reefs, satellite images of rib changes, the way in the light moves in the ‘Water, how water systems are developing – to inform their new fascinating collaboration of humans and technology bridging.
