Meta seeks to increase its generative AI efforts by bringing the “meta-ai” to Whatsapp in one of its greatest markets – India. The chatbot dropped in silence in the country without advancing with a fanfare that it could be just internal tests and not a full -fledged deployment.
Users in India alongside a few other markets began to notice a new drop in Meta IA in the application (defined in English) which allows you to have a free flow conversation with the chatbot based on the LLAMA model of the owner of WhatsApp. It was initially launched in September of last year, followed by a WhatsApp integration into certain markets such as the United States. The new development indicates that Meta could seek to further increase its availability.

Being inside WhatsApp, we expect Meta AI to remain an “autonomous” entity that does not have access to your other cats. Being a generative AI chatbot, it is possible that your conversion exchanges with this can be used for training purposes, that is to say that Meta could have some access. How much, we cannot say about it yet.
Meta Ai is designed to answer requests and answer monitoring questions in a very similar way to how you use the Chatppt. Meta also gives you an option to generate photos via text prompts a bit like Dall-E.
The chatbot currently seems to be available for a very limited set of users. Integration has also been spotted in a beta version of the application for Android and iOS by the Whatsapp Tracker Wabetainfo website, and therefore, more people can get access to the near future .
