Meta has found another place to push her eponymous AI, after having injected him as a autonomous cat character into the most popular messaging application in the world. The latest public beta version of WhatsApp now allows users to create a dedicated widget for Meta Ai.
You can either go with a condensed view, or an enlarged view where you see three different types of controls. The functionality is deployed with the construction number V2.25.6.14 of the application via Google Play Store.
In the basic format, the widget looks like a clean bar with “Ask Meta Ai” written on the text field. Tapping on it brings you directly to the WhatsApp chat window with the AI chatbot.

In the enlarged view, you can either go with a 1 × 3 grid arrangement, or a larger square format where the three commands are labeled for better identification. The enlarged view offers a higher degree of functional convenience, as is the way Google’s Gemini AI has been implemented as a shortcut on the iPhone locking screen.
The first, with the Meta Ai circular icon, launches the text text in WhatsApp. The second button with a camera icon is to download photos, while the third option is to start a voice chat, a bit like the Vocal mode in the Chatppt or the Gemini live interface.
The global theme here is an ease of access, saving users the hassle of launching the WhatsApp application, scrolling through their discussion list, then collecting the appropriate mode to start a conversation with Meta AI.

Regarding capacities, he can hold a conversation like any other AI chatbot based on the voice. You can also ask him to generate images or summarize it of documents. I asked him to break a research document by providing the URL, and Meta Ai did a decent job.
In addition to chatting directly with Meta AI, users can also transmit messages and even invoke it in group cats using the shortcut @. It should be noted that Meta could use the details of your interactions with AI, but will not have access to other cats because they remain encrypted from start to finish.
