The manufacturer of combat FPV drones «Wild Hornets» has shown a new serial interceptor drone Werewolf. The company calls it the «younger brother» of the Sting drone, which hunts Shahed.
«”Werewolf» is the fastest FPV drone in Ukraine from «Wild Hornets»», — the company reported. The announcement notes that this is a new serial drone from «Wild Hornets», which engineers created to destroy enemy air targets.
The developers claim the following features of the Werewolf drone:
- maximum speed up to 200 km/h;
- maximum operating altitude 5 kilometers;
- climb rate 23 sec/km.

The released video shows how this FPV can accelerate sharply and reach speeds of up to 205 km/h. It also shows several hits by the «Werewolf» on Russian reconnaissance and strike UAVs. The «Wild Hornets» note that these Ukrainian drones have already hit «a lot of targets.»
«The Werewolf is the younger brother of our high-speed interceptor Sting, which has significantly greater capabilities», — the company added.
The Sting drone was first shown last fall. It was the first drone specifically designed to defeat Iranian «Shahed» drones launched by the Russians. At the same time, the «Sting» costs much less than the Russian-Iranian drones and can fly at speeds of more than 160 km per hour and climb to an altitude of about 3 km.
In February, Wild Hornets showed testing a new version of the Sting drone. It can fly twice as long while maintaining its speed, which has increased to 200 km/h.
