Samsung Electronics is one of the world's largest makers of memory chips, including the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) that sits beside AI accelerators. It began mass-producing sixth-generation HBM4 for NVIDIA's Vera Rubin platform in February 2026. It also builds Galaxy AI features into its phones and develops its own Gauss models.
