AI Revolution (airevolution.cc) is operated by AI Revolution. This page explains what we collect, why, what is public, what stays private, and how to delete your data. Contact: hello@airevolution.cc.
The short version
- Only aggregated statistics are ever public, and never for groups smaller than our minimum sample size.
- Your email, Google ID, demographics and individual votes are never shown publicly.
- We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we don't sell data.
- Signing in with Google doesn't mean we can email you. That's a separate, optional choice.
- You can delete your account and everything attached to it yourself, at any time, from your profile.
What we collect
If you take the test without an account
- Your answers and your result, linked to a random identifier stored in a cookie (
air_anon), so you can see your result and keep it if you sign in later. - A salted, one-way hash of your network address, used only to rate-limit and detect automated abuse. We never store the address itself.
- Where you arrived from (for example, YouTube), in aggregate.
If you sign in with Google
- Your Google account ID, name, email address and profile photo, plus when you joined and last signed in.
- Your test history, your votes on people, companies and polls, and the time of each change.
- Optional demographics you choose to add (country, age range, gender, whether you work in AI, how often you use AI). Every field is optional.
- Whether you've agreed to receive emails, and when you gave or withdrew that consent.
How it's used
- Quiz answers produce your result and, combined with everyone else's, the community statistics. Only your latest test counts toward the live distribution.
- Votes produce approval ratings, rankings and trends, broken down by ideology. Breakdowns use your current ideology, never your identity.
- Demographics are used only in aggregate, for findings like “AI professionals are more supportive of open-source models.”
- Network hashes and timing data protect results from bots and brigading. They're cleared after 90 days.
- Email is used to send you polls, results and important updates only if you opted in. Every email can be unsubscribed from.
What's public
Aggregated results (percentages, counts and trends) for the community and for groups of at least our minimum sample size. Your result page has an unlisted link: anyone you share it with can see your ideology and dimension scores, but not your name or anything else about you.
Cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| air_session | Keeps you signed in | 30 days |
| air_anon | Remembers a test taken without an account | 1 year |
| air_oauth_*, air_next, air_pending, air_consent | Complete a Google sign-in and any vote or email choice made just before it | 10 minutes |
All are strictly necessary for the features you use. Page analytics are cookieless. Unfinished tests are saved in your browser's local storage so you can resume.
Service providers
- Vercel: hosting, content delivery and invisible bot detection.
- Supabase: database hosting.
- Google: sign-in.
Your rights
You can see your data on your profile, change or remove demographics and email consent there at any time, and permanently delete your account, which removes your votes and test results. For a copy of your data or any other request, contact hello@airevolution.cc. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights, including to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
AI Revolution is not directed at children under 13, and they may not create accounts.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users.
