12th Annual Hamlyn Symposium Announcement of the Key Program for Forum of Clinical Leaders
The Hamlyn Center for Robotic Surgery in Imperial College London today announces the main protruding points of the sound program Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics 2019 (# HSMR19) which returns in June for its 12th consecutive year. The symposium is the main annual international conference on medical robotics, current clinical practice and emerging technologies in robotic surgery, with highlighting activities this year, in particular:
- The final of Surgical Robot Challenge 2019An international competition presenting the latest innovations in surgical robotics
- Full program of Interactive workshops Explore hot subjects and advanced technologies
- Discussion of the forum of clinical leaders on the application of new technologies in clinical practice
- Main two -day international symposium, articles evaluated by peers, alongside world -renowned guest speakers
Full conference program will present speakers, documents of documents and guest delegates from the main medical, scientific and technological establishments covering clinical specialties in urology, cardiac surgery, neuro surgery, chest surgery, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, orthopedic and pediatric surgery. A range of unique practical workshops will be offered of subjects covering subjects such as bionic technologies and implantable robots, e-skins and advanced materials for soft robotics and robotic autonomy in surgery. The theme of this year’s symposium is “clinical challenges and levels of autonomy” with a remarkable event planned, the forum of clinical leaders, which will be held on 25thJune 2019 2:30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m., at the Royal Geographical Society, London. The forum will bring together an eminent group of main robotic surgeons in various areas of expertise to discuss ways in which technologies can be applied in clinical practice.
