About
Alexandr Wang founded Scale AI at 19 and built it into a major supplier of training data for AI labs and the US government. In June 2025 Meta invested about $14 billion in Scale and hired Wang to lead Meta Superintelligence Labs as chief AI officer. MSL's first model, Muse Spark, launched in April 2026.
Wang runs one of the most expensive AI efforts ever assembled and is an outspoken advocate of the United States winning the AI race against China.
