About
Daniela Amodei co-founded Anthropic in 2021 with her brother Dario and several former OpenAI colleagues, after senior roles at OpenAI, most recently vice president of safety and policy. Earlier she was an early employee at Stripe and worked in politics. As President she runs Anthropic's business side, from operations to sales and partnerships, and led its growth to an annualized revenue above $30 billion in April 2026. She and Dario were named to the TIME100 list in 2026.
Amodei is the operational architect of one of the world's leading AI companies and argues that safety and commercial success reinforce each other rather than compete.
