Do you support Dario Amodei's overall direction for AI?
The trend line appears after a few days of voting.
Dario Amodei led research at OpenAI, including work on GPT-2 and GPT-3, before leaving in 2021 with his sister Daniela and several colleagues to found Anthropic. Under his leadership the company built the Claude models and became one of the most valuable AI companies in the world. He trained as a physicist and holds a PhD in biophysics from Princeton.
In his 2024 essay 'Machines of Loving Grace', Amodei argued that powerful AI could compress decades of scientific progress into years. He also warns that it could eliminate large numbers of entry-level white-collar jobs, and has proposed an FAA-style regulator for AI.
